The Gates...
With all the negative talk I'd heard from various people about the Gates exhibit in central park, I have to say that I was pleasantly suprised today as I took a breif stroll through the park from 59th Street to about 79th street.... The color alone was beautiful - and the number and arrangement of the gates was quite impressive! I am not sure if my pictures can convey the atmosphere of the park. Tranquil yet festive, is how I'd describe it. I hope I get a chance to go back before the gates are removed.
